This manuscript bound volume is the Bachelor of Science thesis written by B.H. Clingerman, with the assistance of Grant Ford, Lester Asa Russell and William Newman Todd; these men were students together in the Electrical Engineering Department at M.I.T. in 1903 and 1904. The thesis, containing text, blueprints, B&W photographs, tables, and technical illustrations, displays student knowledge as it relates to the transmission of electrical power in the early 20th century; also laid into the volume is a mounted photograph of William Newman Todd.
