Pseudo-Mesuë̈ the Younger, Yahya Ibn Māsawaih, supposed to have been a Jacobite Christian living in the 10th century, but now believed to been a Latin author of the early 13th century using the name Mesuë. Edited by Petrus Gulosius de Amalfia. Median folio, with paper measuring 33.5 x 22.6 cm. Text in one column, approximately 23.8 x 14.3 cm. Spaces left for initials. Signatures: [a¹⁰ b-k⁸ l⁶ m-z⁸ 2a⁸ 2b¹⁰ (2b10 blank)]. Hand-drawn borders on pages [2] and [3] with the one of page [3] hand-colored in red, green and yellow. Coats of arms drawn on top and bottom of page [3], with angels surrounding the one in the lower margin. Binding: brown morocco; binder's stamp: Lloyd, Wallis & Lloyd.
