3 items: three LAT clip copies, one editorial, two news stories, 11/28/1933, "two kidnap and murder suspects were taken from a San Jose jail by a very large mob, and hanged, the controversy was increased when Gov. James Rolph praised the lynching as a "lesson to the nation" that California would not tolerate similar crimes.

Lorenz, Administrative Assistant to the President, San Jose State College, from Freddie Miller, regarding requested reprints; a memo from Otis Chandler to Art Seidenbaum, requesting ideas for speech; a thank you letter from Robert D. Clark, San Jose State, to Otis Chandler; a newspaper clipping from the San Jose Mercury regarding the speech; a letter, with an invitation attached, from George W. Milias, Chairman, California Legislature Assembly committee on State Personnel and Veterans Affairs, to Otis Chandler, sending his regrets on not being able to attend the reception in honor of Otis Chandler; a thank you letter from Mrs. Murial K. Lorenz, Administrative Assistant to the President, San Jose State College, to Freddie Miller, also discussing the reception honoring Otis Chandler; four letters stapled together of correspondence between Mrs. Murial K. Lorenz, Freddie Miller, Robert D.
