    Captain John H. Roberts letter to S.D. Saulisburry

    Manuscripts

    This letter by Roberts is addressed to S.D. Saulisburry (a misspelling of S.D. Saulisbury, who served on the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors from 1893 to 1897). In this letter he asks about possible forest fires in the area as well as the classification of a "Grand Victory Rock" and various specimens of unidentified material.
