View of the back of a large house with an attached small building. Col. E. J. C. Kewen and his wife lived for 20 years in the building known as "El Molino Viejo" (Old Mill) in present-day San Marino. This is not that building, but may be another building on the El Molino ranch property; the exact location is unclear. See notes below.

On a different tract of land in San Marino, Arabella Huntington bought this property planning to renovate it for her son Archer. This renovation never occurred, and the Old Mill still stands today (July 20, 2010). The label that accompanies this photo in the album reads "No. 41 Old mill at El Molino Ranch, about 1910." A newspaper clipping is laid in to the album about missing treasure and a ghost that supposedly haunts the mill.
