A panoramic view of the runway at United Airport in Burbank. The photograph was taken from the opposite side of the runway, facing the buildings and crowds. The white, Spanish-style terminal building is just left of center, with the Pacific Air Transport building to the left and two hangars to the right. There are numerous rows of airplanes parked on perpendicular runways on either side of the terminal building. The finding aid describes these airplanes as "military airplanes". There are hundreds of parked automobiles on the far right and left. Writing in white in the bottom, left of center, reads "No 4 Photo by ; F.M. Huddleston ; 4-26-1930".

The men on the runway are wearing white coveralls with "Warren School of Aeronautics" on the back. The hangar in the background is still under construction.

Album of photographic snapshots of an automobile trip taken by J. G. Oliver and W. H. Frick from Los Angeles to the Owens Valley, California. A typewritten text describes the 260 mile trip following the route of the aqueduct and depicts the landscape of Owens Valley, Owens Lake, and the reservoirs, conduits, concrete canals, siphons, and power plants bringing water to Los Angeles. The trip ends at 1837 Canyon Drive with a photograph of a woman watering her lawn. The 1915 Los Angeles City Directory, lists 1837 Canyon Drive as the residence of Julius G. Oliver. His friend, William H. Frick, a salesman at the Cass-Smurr-Damerell Company, lived nearby at 4534 Kingswell. 1837 Canyon was later demolished.
