- Image of General Thomas Gage, the last British military Royal Governor of Massachusetts, assuring an assemblage of boys that they need not fear his troops quartered in Boston; Gage sits in military uniform at a table with two other uniformed men facing a group of 15 boys standing by the table and coming through the door; an African American man tends a fire in the fireplace at left.

- Gift of Jay T. Last, 2005. This collection forms part of the Jay T. Last collection of graphic arts and social history, which was donated to the Huntington Library by Jay T. Last in 2005 as a gift in progress. The bulk of the view prints were transferred to the Library between 2010 and 2012.
