    The sheet shows plans for two full decks, not identified, and steerage on the Peru; the deck plans show passenger accommodations, along with the dining saloon, social hall, smoking room and other amenities. Hand drawn on vellum; some color. "P.M.S.S. Peru. Passenger Plan"--title in the center of the drawing. "Scale 3/32 inch = one foot"--scale given. "Case No. 406s Sheet No. 5444s"--purple stamp, lower right corner, numbers in ms., in ink; stamp and the case number are the same as the one found on priJHK 00143, indicating the origin of the drawing is Union Iron Works Co., San Francisco. The Peru operated for Pacific Mail between 1892 and 1919; built for PMSSCO by Union Iron Works in 1891-92; she was the second Pacific Mail vessel to carry this name. Focus of item: Peru (1892-1919).

    "Scale 3/4" = 1 Ft."--scale given. The original case and sheet numbers have been scratched out and replaced with "1463-42134"; the stamp and the original case number are the similar to the one found on ephKMSP 006, indicating the origin of the drawing is Union Iron Works Co., San Francisco. "Peru"--on verso, in ms., in pencil. Unknown as to when the copy was made. Original had a tear and when copy was made the lower right corner was curled creating a gap. The Peru operated for Pacific Mail between 1892 and 1919; built for PMSSCO by Union Iron Works in 1891-92; she was the second Pacific Mail vessel to carry this name. Focus of item: Peru (1892-1919).

Unknown as to when the copy was made.
